Features and Coverage
After visiting their website, the advantage that really caught my eye is the fact that the prices for their premiums are cheaper than the majority of other insurers. According to their website, getting a cover can go as cheap as a bit over $2 a day, and because there are no travel agent commission, you will be able to save up to 50%.
There are currently four different types of travel insurance policies to take out:
- International – This will give coverage for singles and families as long as they are under 70 year old. Four plans known as Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze can be taken, depending where you are travelling to. A Bronze plan will cover travellers to the South West Pacific, while a Platinum will cover journeys to USA and Canada.
- Domestic – This is for anyone under 70 year old and has only three plans to choose from: Cancellation only of up to $1000 or $2000, and the third plan of getting Comprehensive Cover.
- Frequent – Love to travel and under 70? This policy is for you. The best thing about this policy is the fact that it will cover unlimited amount of trips during any one period shown in the certificate of insurance. However it should be noted that any one trip is not allowed to go beyond 45 days. Two plans, PPlatinium and PGold are offered with this policy.
- Aged 70+ - This is basically the policies for senior travellers up to the age of 84. Five plans are available which ranges from domestic travelling and international travels.
